The Vox AC30S1 is a 30-watt all-tube guitar amp with one channel and one 12" speaker. Vox pared the AC30 down to its essence, the Top Boost channel, to make an amp lighter than the two-speaker AC30s and easy to carry to rehearsals.

One channel, the right one

The Top Boost is the channel people hear when they think of an AC30: sparkling cleans through to thick overdrive. The AC30S1 keeps only that one, with five knobs: Gain, Treble, Bass, Reverb and Volume. No channel to choose and no footswitch needed to start playing.

Built for the road

With a single Celestion VX12 and a more compact cabinet, it weighs 24.5 kg. The effects send and return take delays and modulation, and the external speaker output lets you add a cabinet. The digital reverb emulates a spring tank.
