PreSonus ATOM 16-Pad MIDI Controller
The PreSonus ATOM is a 16-pad MIDI controller small enough to travel with a laptop, built for playing beats, firing loops and running your software without looking at the screen. It's USB powered and needs no driver.
What sets it apart
- 16 full-size RGB pads, velocity and pressure sensitive
- Pressure sent as aftertouch, channel pressure or CC
- 8 pad banks, 4 endless encoders, 20 assignable buttons
- Keyboard, note repeat and full velocity modes
- Official Ableton Live integration
- USB powered, 0.45 kg
Tuned to how you play
Velocity curves and pressure thresholds are selectable, so a light touch or a heavy hand gets the result you expect. Full velocity mode always sends the maximum value, handy for triggering samples at full volume.
With Ableton Live and Fender Studio Pro
In Ableton Live 10.1.5 and up, ATOM navigates Session View, launches clips and scenes, and sets volume and panning. In Fender Studio Pro, it drives the Impact XT sampler, the transport and virtual instruments.
