Audix CabGrabber XL Mic Holder for 14 to 20 in. Cabinets
The CabGrabber XL is the large-format version of the Audix amp clamp: it grips a guitar or bass cabinet 14 to 20 in. deep and holds the mic in front of the speaker, with no stand to squeeze in front of the amp.
What sets it apart
- Cabinets 14 to 20 in. deep
- Mic up to 1 lb (0.45 kg)
- Flat top or recessed edge
- DCLIP clip included
Installed in four moves
Grip the neck and the back of the CabGrabber XL. Set the rear grip against the back of the cabinet first, then draw the front grip forward and hook it over the face of the cab; adjust so the bar sits level. Set the neck to the height you want and hand-tighten the nut. Finish by aiming the mic.
For big cabinets
A bass cabinet or a large guitar cab often runs deeper than the standard CabGrabber's 14 in.: the longer XL takes over up to 20 in. Its tubular arm swivels 180 degrees to aim at the speaker you choose. It accepts any standard mic clip; the optional Audix MC1 holds i5, OM and VX mics.
