Markbass CMB 101 Black Line 40W 1x10" Bass Combo Amp
The Markbass CMB 101 Black Line is a 40-watt bass combo with a 10" speaker, built for practising at home. It gives a student a sound that reacts to their touch, plus a headphone jack for late-night sessions that won't wake anyone.
What sets it apart
- 40 W into a 10" speaker
- 4-band EQ, two of them for the mids
- SCOOPED switch for highs, BOOST for grit
- AUX input to play along with a song
- Headphone and preamp outputs
- 9.7 kg, easy to tuck into a bedroom
Practise without bothering anyone
Plug a phone into the AUX input, put the headphones on, and your bass blends with the song you are learning. That is a beginner's daily routine: repeating the same passage twenty times, whenever it suits them.
Once the band comes together, the preamp output (unbalanced) sends your signal to a mixer or a rehearsal-room PA.
Two buttons to change the colour
The four EQ bands, with two mid controls, are plenty for learning how to shape a tone. SCOOPED carves the mids and lifts the treble, handy for slap; BOOST adds gentle saturation for rock.
