A first amp that doesn't hold you back
The CODE25 recreates preamps, power amps and speaker cabinets, then adds modulation, delay and reverb. You start from one of the 100 presets and tweak it with the panel knobs or in the Gateway app, on iOS or Android.
Practising at home
The 3.5 mm headphone output lets you play at night without noise; the aux input lets you play along with a song. Bluetooth also streams music from your phone through the amp. With 25 watts, Marshall considers the CODE25 powerful enough to start gigging.

Frequently asked questions
- Why does the Bluetooth connection drop?
- Android and iOS shut Bluetooth off when the app is suspended to save battery; Gateway tries to reconnect. Marshall also recommends updating the firmware to version 1.47.
- The app can't find the amp: what should I do?
- Check that the blue light is on and move the phone closer. If not, switch the amp off and on, without pressing the pairing button. As a last resort, forget the device in the phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Can I share my presets?
- Yes, through Marshall's Code Presets platform: you upload your sounds and download other players'.
