The D'Addario American Stage PW-AMSGRA-10 is a 10 ft guitar cable with a right-angle plug on one end and a straight plug on the other. The right angle goes into the guitar and keeps the cable flat against the body instead of sticking out.

Why only one right angle

A straight plug jutting from the edge of a guitar or bass gets caught by the mic stand, then by the player. The right angle follows the body, and the cable can be routed under the strap to take strain off the jack. The straight end slips easily into an amp or the first pedal.
