Humidipak Maintain PW-HPK-01 is a packet system that keeps the inside of a case between 45 and 50% relative humidity. Each packet adds or removes moisture depending on the surrounding air: there is nothing to refill.

What sets it apart
  • Two-way control: humidifies or dries as needed
  • Three packets and a soft mesh pouch that is kind to the finish
  • Packets last 2 to 6 months, replace them once they harden

What it needs

The packets work in a closed space: D'Addario calls for a sealed environment such as a hard-shell case. A guitar that is already dry, or has never been humidified, starts with Humidipak Restore (PW-HPK-03), made to rehydrate a dry instrument, before moving to Maintain.
