D'addario

The PWS100 is a black guitar strap woven from heavy-duty polypropylene, 2 inches wide and adjustable from 35 to 59.5 inches. Its leather ends slip over the strap buttons of a guitar or a bass.

What sets it apart

  • Webbing built to outlast ordinary polypropylene
  • Length adjusts from 35 to 59.5 in.
  • Strong leather ends
  • For guitar and bass, on stage or in the studio

A basic strap that holds up

A player who is starting to stand up and play doesn't need a padded strap. What they need is a sturdy one you set once and forget. The PWS100 covers that with thicker-than-usual polypropylene webbing and leather ends.

Setting the length

The strap adjusts between 35 and 59.5 inches. D'Addario lists guitar and bass among its uses, so one strap can move from one instrument to the other in a rehearsal room.

Other versions

The same pattern comes with Planet Lock ends or an acoustic quick-release end, and in ten colours. The PWS100 keeps the classic leather ends. It has no padding.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a guitar strap be?
Long enough to put the instrument where your picking hand works without strain. The PWS100 spans 35 to 59.5 inches, so it can be worn high or low.
Do guitar straps fit a bass?
This one does: D'Addario makes it for both instruments.
Can you attach this strap to any guitar?
Its leather ends slip over two strap buttons. For an acoustic with no button at the neck heel, D'Addario makes the same strap with an acoustic quick-release end.
How long do guitar straps last?
The maker builds this webbing to outlast ordinary polypropylene and backs it with a limited 5-year warranty.
