Audix DN43 Dante and AES67 Interface for M3 and One RJ45 Mic
The DN43 is the Dante and AES67 interface designed around the Audix M3 three-element ceiling mic: one port is reserved for it, and a second takes an Audix single-element mic. All four channels head onto the network over one cable.
What sets it apart
- Dedicated port for the M3 three-element mic
- Second port for a single-element RJ45 mic
- Four Dante or AES67 channels
- PoE or 48 V power
Built for the M3
The hanging M3 covers a room with three capsules, so three signals. The DN43 receives them on one RJ45 port and sends them as three channels on the network, ready for the video conferencing processor. The fourth channel comes from the second port, for an Audix single-element table or ceiling mic covering one more zone.
The same controls as the DN4
Each channel is set in software: gain in eight steps up to +36 dB, high-pass at 15 or 238 Hz, low-pass at 5, 7 or 10 kHz, or bypassed. Audio travels at 24 bits and 48 kHz, and settings are kept in flash memory. The interface supplies 48 V phantom power.
Installation
The DN43 runs on 802.3af PoE or an external 48 V DC source. Evaluated to UL2043, it can live above a drop ceiling, close to the mic. Mounting brackets are included. It handles the logic input and LED outputs of the single-element port.
