DW 9934 Double Tom Stand with Cymbal Tube and Boom Arm
The 9934 is a double tom stand supplied with a tube and its cymbal boom arm. The cymbal therefore does not clamp onto an existing tube: it rises from its own post, mounted in the accessory clamp, and can go much higher than the drums.

A post for the cymbal, and why it beats a clamp
Clamping a boom arm directly onto a tom stand limits how high you can go: the cymbal cannot rise above the clamping point, and that point is low, under the toms.
Here, the accessory clamp takes a full tube, and that tube carries the boom arm. The cymbal starts from a higher level and can sit well above the drums: a crash over the toms, or a china with room to breathe.

A drummer with two toms and a centre crash usually sets up two stands: one for the drums, one for the cymbal. Six legs to fit together, in the most crowded part of the kit, right in front of them.
This version brings the whole thing down to three legs. On a small stage, that is often the difference between a comfortable setup and one where you give up a cymbal.
The trade-off you should know about
Since everything starts from the same stand, a hard hit on the cymbal carries into the toms. In the studio, with sensitive mics, you can hear it a little. Most stage drummers find the trade well worth it; for recording, the question is worth asking.
