DW DWSM2034 Cymbal Tilter with 1/2 in Clamp
The DWSM2034 puts a real cymbal tilter at the end of any standard 1/2 in rod. Where there was only a bare piece of metal, there is now an adjustable seat that can take a cymbal and hold its angle.

A bare rod does not make a cymbal holder
Many kits have 1/2 in rods doing nothing: a freed-up tom arm, an accessory rod, a leftover from an old setup. Setting a cymbal directly on one does not work: there is no seat, no felt and no way to tilt it.
This part fills exactly that gap. It clamps onto the existing rod and gives it the top it needs to hold a cymbal properly.
Angle: the detail that decides how comfortable it is to play
A cymbal sitting flat forces you to hit the edge with the shoulder of the stick: the sound is harsh and the cymbal cracks sooner. If it is tilted too far, the stick glances off it. The right angle is the one that presents the edge square to the path of your arm.
That setting is only possible with a tilter. It is what this part adds to a rod that, without it, leaves the cymbal horizontal.

- No. The clamp opens and closes around the rod where it is; nothing needs to come apart.
- Are the felts included?
