One more cymbal, without one more stand
The floor of a setup fills up quickly. Every extra base costs floor space, weight to carry and one more chance to trip over something during a changeover.
This kit takes the opposite route: it goes to a stand already standing, clamps onto it, and grows an arm above it. The new cymbal adds nothing to the floor — it only adds a load on an existing anchor point, which you manage by orienting the base.

Assembling a clamp, an arm and two memory locks yourself works when the diameters match. The usual letdown comes from the memory lock: the one you have on hand fits neither the clamp's tube nor the arm's rod, and the setup ends up with no position memory.
Here, each memory lock has its own job: one for the clamp, the other for the rod. The two settings that matter — where the clamp sits, how far the arm extends — are both retained.

The clamp accepts a wide range of diameters, but not all supports are equal. A thick column, near a junction or a load-bearing point, takes the load without flinching. A thin rod, clamped high, turns it into a pendulum.
