Unlike the Epiphone Paul White, the SG Standard Alpine White is the ideal instrument for the dynamic guitarist who moves around the stage. Its lightweight design promotes speed and allows for a sound that cuts through the mix. It's the guitar of choice for Angus Young and Tony Iommi. Transform every note into an unforgettable experience with the SG Standard Alpine White.

Inspired by the legendary 1961 model, this guitar embodies the perfect balance between an angelic look and a devilish temperament. Its high-end "Custom" look blends beautifully with the chrome hardware. A guitar that's as stylish as it is responsive.

Epiphone SG Alpine white: the choice of tune

The Epiphone SG Standard Alpine White is an electric guitar that combines aesthetics and performance. Its classic SG design, combined with an Alpine White finish, immediately catches the eye. Equipped with Alnico Classic PRO™ humbucker pickups, it delivers a powerful and clear tone, ideal for rock and blues.

Although it shares the same DNA (mahogany body, two humbucker pickups) as the Epiphone Paul White, these two icons offer radically different experiences. While the former has more bite and responsiveness in the midrange, the Epiphone Paul White is defined by having more sustain and depth in the bass.

Technical characteristics

CTS Electronics: Unlike older entry-level models, this SG uses CTS potentiometers, the industry standard, for much smoother and more reliable volume and tone variation.

Alnico Classic PRO: These pickups use Alnico V magnets, offering a "PAF" (Vintage) output level with a little more bite, perfect for switching from blues to hard rock.

Graph Tech nut: A major addition that prevents the strings from "sticking" during bends, ensuring that the guitar stays in tune longer.

Body material: Mahogany

Body shape: SG Classic

Finish: Glossy

Bridge: LockTone™ Tune-o-matic

Cordier : Stop Bar

Tuning fork : 24.75" / 628.65mm

What the musicians say about it

Musicians appreciate its playability and aesthetics. The Epiphone SG Standard Alpine White is particularly ideal for long standing concerts. The finish is often praised for its quality. Many note that the neck is comfortable, unlike the Epiphone Les Paul White, which is heavier and bulkier.

For whom?

  • Rockers looking for a stylish guitar
  • Lovers of blues and vintage sounds
Expert tip: To maximize your sonic experience, consider pairing this guitar with a tube amp for an even richer sound.
