The PreSonus Eris 4.5BT is a pair of 4.5-inch studio monitors that also take Bluetooth 5.0. They're for anyone who finds the smallest monitors a bit thin in the low end but has neither the room nor the need for a 5-inch model: podcasting, beats, gaming, or simply fuller music at the desk.

Where the Eris 3.5BT stops at 80 Hz, the 4.5BT is rated from 70 Hz to 20 kHz. For a bass line, a kick drum or a deep podcast voice, that's the difference between guessing at the bottom of the spectrum and actually hearing it.
The size follows: 24 cm tall, 16.3 cm wide and 17.8 cm deep per speaker. Plan on a slightly deeper desk than for a 3.5.
Tuned to your room
The low (100 Hz) and high (10 kHz) controls work over ±6 dB. A speaker near a wall often gains bass: take it out here instead of skewing your mix. The two drivers cross over at 2.8 kHz.
The pair goes into power-saving mode after 40 minutes without signal, handy for a setup you forget to switch off at night.
