PreSonus Eris Studio 4 4.5" Active Studio Monitor
The PreSonus Eris Studio 4 is a 4.5-inch active studio monitor for a bedroom or small-studio desk. It takes up little space, reaches down to 55 Hz without a subwoofer, and its waveguide widens the area where the mix sounds right.
What sets it apart
- 4.5 in. woofer and 1 in. silk-dome tweeter
- EBM waveguide: 120 degrees horizontal, 60 degrees vertical
- Biamplified in Class AB, 50 W
- 55 Hz to 20 kHz response thanks to the front port
- Soft start that prevents the pop at power-up
- XLR, TRS and RCA inputs
Small, but designed for the desk
The EBM waveguide spreads the highs over 120 degrees horizontally, which widens the ideal listening spot. Its narrow 60-degree vertical dispersion limits reflections off the desk surface, a common problem when monitors sit next to the keyboard.
The front-firing port and internal cabinet bracing help the 4.5 in. woofer reach down to 55 Hz without a subwoofer.
Tuned for your room, not an ideal one
PreSonus provides high and mid controls of ±6 dB, a high-pass filter at 80 or 100 Hz for adding a subwoofer, and three-position Acoustic Space for a monitor placed against a wall or in a corner.
