The GCWB-INS-20 is a 20-foot instrument cable with a straight 1/4" plug at each end, from Gator's Backline series. Its length lets a guitarist or bassist move around the stage without tugging on the amp.

A cable built to last
An instrument cable gets bent, coiled and stepped on. Here Gator protects each connection with heat-shrink tubing, which also acts as strain relief, and wraps the cable in a soft 6.5 mm PVC jacket. Frequently asked questions
- Will I lose tone with a 20-foot cable?
- The longer a cable, the more capacitance it adds, which can soften the highs of a guitar with passive pickups a little. Gator doesn't publish this cable's capacitance.
- Can I use it between an amp and a speaker?
- No. An instrument cable is shielded for a weak signal; between a head and a cabinet, you need a speaker cable.
- Is it under warranty?
- Yes, a limited lifetime replacement warranty against manufacturing defects.
