The GTR-FRETMUTESM-1BK is a small string dampener for 6-string electric or acoustic guitar, 4-string bass and ukulele. Wrapped around the neck, it silences the strings you aren't playing, so only the notes you mean come out of the amp or mic.

The size for the most common instruments
It's the smallest of Gator's four fret mute sizes. Its stretch fabric adjusts from 6.5" to 6.87" overall, and the hook-and-loop strap lets you dial in the damping: tight for complete silence on open strings, looser to just tame the overtones. Slide it past the nut, onto the headstock, when you want to play open.
