PreSonus Eris HD10BT Bluetooth Headphones with Active Noise Cancelling
The PreSonus Eris HD10BT is a closed-back headphone that plugs in at the studio and goes wireless once you head out. It pairs 40 mm drivers with active noise cancelling and Bluetooth 5.0, so one pair covers both the work session and the bus ride home.
What sets it apart
- Active noise cancelling up to 18 dB, with or without Bluetooth
- Bluetooth 5.0 with a 10 m range
- Up to 16 hours of playback with ANC off, 8 hours with it on
- Works wired through the 1/8 in. jack, even with a flat battery
- Closed, over-ear cups for isolation
- Built-in mic and call button
- Hard case, cable and 1/4 in. adapter included
Two headphones in one
At the desk, plug it into your audio interface with the supplied cable and 1/4 in. adapter. Out and about, pair it with your phone: the right ear cup buttons handle volume, track skipping and calls.
How the noise cancelling works
The ANC switch sits under the left ear cup and works without Bluetooth too, as long as the headphones are powered on. It does cost battery time: plan on about 8 hours with it engaged.

Frequently asked questions
- Should I leave noise cancelling on when mixing?
- No, it switches off. To judge a mix, listen with ANC off and wired; keep it for noisy places.
- Can I use them wired when the battery is dead?
- Yes. PreSonus designed the 1/8 in. jack on the right ear cup for exactly that: a low battery or a device without Bluetooth.
- What's the real battery life?
- PreSonus rates it at up to 16 hours with ANC off and up to 8 hours with ANC on.
- Can I listen over Bluetooth while charging?
- No. The manual says not to use Bluetooth while the headphones charge over micro-USB.
