Marshall

The Marshall JVM205C is a 50-watt tube combo with two 12" speakers: two channels with three modes each, enough to go from clean to heavy drive, at a power level that still works in a bar or a studio.

What sets it apart

  • 50 W from two EL34s
  • One Celestion Heritage G12H and one Celestion Vintage
  • Two channels, three gain modes each
  • Digital reverb set per channel
  • Two effects loops and an emulated XLR out
  • Hand-assembled at Marshall's UK factory

Six sounds in a 50-watt combo

Each channel offers three modes, each with more gain than the one before. With two channels, that's six sounds under your feet, from crystal clean to heavy saturation. Gain, EQ and reverb are all set channel by channel.

Two master volumes, also switchable, give you a lift for solos.

Two speakers that complement each other

The combo pairs a Celestion Heritage G12H with a Celestion Vintage, wired for a 16 Ω load. For recording, the emulated XLR line out goes straight to the desk.

Marshall builds the JVM205C at its UK factory, from the circuit boards to the black and gold finish.
