Zildjian

The K Paper Thin Crash 19" is among the thinnest crashes in the K family: a dark, explosive burst, a quick decay and a very soft feel under the stick. At 19", it is rated 3 for brightness and 6 for sustain.

What sets it apart

  • Paper Thin weight: among the thinnest Ks
  • Dark, explosive crash, quick decay
  • Reworked three-step hammering
  • Very soft feel

The return of Paper Thin

Zildjian was already making Paper Thin cymbals in the 1950s. After years of requests from drummers, the weight class returns to the K family, with three-step hammering that gives the cymbal flexibility and nuances of its own.

The 19"

Sound Lab: 3 for brightness, 4 for dryness, 5 for definition, 6 for sustain. Darker than the 18" (4) and a bit more defined, it keeps the immediate response that such a thin profile gives.
