The Kala KA-TEAK-S is a teak soprano ukulele, the smallest model in the Teak series. Light, and made from a wood Kala describes as water-resistant, it slips into a backpack or a child's hands without anyone worrying about the next outing.

The smallest in the Teak series

The soprano is the most common and lightest size, according to Kala, with the shortest scale: 34.3 cm here, over 12 frets. It is also the size best suited to small hands. The KA-TEAK-S is 53.5 cm long and its body is 6.7 cm deep, easy for a young player to hold.

Why teak

Kala added the Teak series to its affordable lines. This tropical hardwood, with tight, striped grain, is known for water resistance and durability. The neck is meranti, the fingerboard Indonesian nandu; chrome open-gear tuners, Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle. Every Kala soprano bag and case fits it.
