Zildjian L80 Low Volume Cymbal Pack (14" Hi-Hats, 16" Crash, 18" Crash Ride)
The L80 Low Volume 14/16/18 is a set of three low-volume cymbals in the sizes of a real stage kit: 14" hi-hats, a 16" crash and an 18" crash ride. You practise at up to 80% less volume, on the same sizes you will play at shows.

Practise on the right sizes
14" hi-hats and a 16" crash are the sizes found on most drum sets. Working on these sizes means keeping the same motions and distances as at rehearsal. The 18" crash ride rounds things out by playing both roles, ride and crash.
Gigs at low volume
Zildjian doesn't limit the L80s to practice. It also offers them for low-volume gigs: small rooms and anywhere you can't play loud. Their response to brushes and mallets widens the range of uses even further.

- L80 348 or 468: which one?
- The 348 pairs 13" hi-hats with a 14" crash, more compact. The 468 moves up to 14" hi-hats and a 16" crash, the sizes of a regular kit. Both share the same 18" crash ride.
- Do low-volume cymbals keep the feel?
- That is their main selling point. Zildjian says the L80s keep the authentic feel of its cymbals: you play as usual, and the response stays articulate with sticks as well as brushes.
- Does it really protect your ears?
- With up to 80% less volume, exposure drops considerably. Zildjian in fact presents the L80s as a way to avoid the ear fatigue of long practice sessions.
