Marshall MG15GR 15W Guitar Combo Amp with Reverb
The Marshall MG15GR is a 15-watt combo amp with reverb, for practising with a bit of space around the notes: two channels, a three-band EQ and an adjustable reverb that works on the clean and the overdrive alike.
What sets it apart
- 15 W, 8" speaker
- Fully adjustable reverb
- Clean channel and overdrive channel
- Three-band EQ
- Emulated headphone out, aux input
- 7.8 kg
Reverb on both channels
Without reverb, a practice amp can sound dry. The MG15GR has one built in, adjustable across its full range, and it applies to the clean channel and the overdrive channel alike. The rest of the panel stays simple: clean volume, overdrive gain and volume, bass, middle, treble.
Made for playing at home
Marshall presents it as the ideal amp for playing at home. The emulated headphone output lets you practise silently and record directly.
The aux input takes a phone so you can play over your favourite tracks.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the MG15GR any good?
- For practice, yes: two channels, a three-band EQ, adjustable reverb and a headphone out. It isn't aimed at the stage.
- Are fifteen watts loud enough?
- Plenty for a bedroom or living room. To keep up with a drummer, you need more power.
- Is it normal to hear some hiss?
- Yes. Marshall says hiss at idle is part of the nature of MG amps.
