Positive Grid RIFF USB Guitar Audio Interface
The Positive Grid RIFF is a guitar audio interface small enough to sit in your palm that gets your instrument into a computer or iPhone for recording or playing through amp software. Its Auto Gain sets the input level for you.
What sets it apart
- 24-bit, 96 kHz conversion
- 114 dB dynamic range
- Auto Gain: input level set automatically
- Direct mode, zero-latency monitoring
- Tone mode: three built-in preamp and drive settings
- Backlit display and aluminum housing
Three modes for what you're doing
Auto Gain listens to the guitar and finds the right input level by itself, no fiddling. Direct mode sends the signal to your headphones without going through the computer, so there's no delay. Tone mode adds warmth, a boost or overdrive right in the interface.
From iPhone to computer
Two cables come in the box: micro-USB to Lightning for an iPhone or iPad, and micro-USB to USB-A for a Mac or PC. On Windows, RIFF works with a third-party ASIO driver offered in Positive Grid's help centre.
A licence for BIAS FX 2 LE desktop software comes with the interface, and any recording software can use it.
