Marshall Studio 900 SN20H 20W Tube Guitar Amp Head
The Marshall Studio 900 SN20H is a 20 W two-channel guitar amp head with spring reverb, designed as much for the home studio as for the stage: it drops below 1 W and sends its sound out directly through two DI outputs.
What sets it apart
- Two channels and spring reverb
- 20 W, 5 W or under 1 W
- Two 5881 power valves
- DI output and compensated DI output
- 11.2 kg, 510 × 245 × 240 mm
A head that records
In a home studio, miking a valve head takes volume. The SN20H offers another route: the compensated DI output sends the sound to your interface, and the under-1 W setting keeps the room quiet.
The built-in spring reverb adds depth to the sound with no extra pedal.
On stage with a cab
On stage, the five speaker outputs take 16, 8 or 4 Ω cabs, and the 20 W setting brings back the power of the scaled-down JCM900.
Marshall builds it in Bletchley, in the factory that made the JCM900.
