Made in Germany, played everywhere

Hohner builds every instrument in its Progressive series in Germany, the Special 20 included. The series brings together five diatonics designed to go along with the player, whether jamming with friends, practising alone or playing in a band. The Special 20 sits there beside the Golden Melody, a jazz favourite, and the three Rocket models aimed at advanced players.

Eleventh of the 12 standard keys going up, F puts F4 on hole 1 blow. On the draw, holes 1 to 4 give G, C, E and G, a C chord: blues in C is therefore played in 2nd position, melodies in F in 1st.
