PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 USB 16-Channel Digital Mixer
The PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 USB is a compact 16-channel digital mixer that works like an analog console: one knob per function, one fader per channel, no menus to dig through. It's aimed at small churches, schools, bands and clubs that want digital power without learning its jargon.
What sets it apart
- 12 Class A XMAX mic preamps
- 8 mono and 4 stereo channels, 60 mm faders
- 18-in/16-out USB 2.0 interface: every channel records separately
- Fat Channel on every channel and bus: filter, 3-band EQ, compressor, limiter, expander
- Main output EQ: stereo, graphic, 31 bands
- Scene recall, MIDI control and lockout mode
Digital, with an analog console's logic
PreSonus kept an analog console's reflexes on the 16.0.2 USB: a fader for every channel, an output for every bus, physical controls instead of menus. Select a channel and the Fat Channel shows its filter, 3-band semi-parametric EQ, compressor, limiter and expander. All processing is available at the same time on every channel, with no shared resources.
Four aux buses, pre- or post-fader, handle monitor mixes. Two 32-bit effects processors, each with its own bus, add reverb and delay.
Record the show without adding anything
Connected to a computer over USB, the console sends 18 channels (every input plus the main mix) at 44.1 or 48 kHz, 24-bit. Capture software sets everything up in one click, and its sessions open directly in Fender Studio Pro, included with a perpetual licence.
For rooms where several people run the board, lockout mode protects the settings, and scenes recall Sunday morning's setup or Friday night's in one move.
