Zildjian 5A Anti-Vibe Hickory Drumsticks, Wood Tip
The Zildjian 5A Anti-Vibe is a pair of hickory 5A drumsticks whose butt end hides a patented device that cuts the vibration reaching your hands. It's aimed at long practice sessions and playing on electronic kits.
What sets it apart
- Patented anti-vibration device
- 5A size, oval wood tip
- Looks like a regular lacquered stick
What's inside the butt end
The Anti-Vibe series was developed with Sims Vibration Laboratory, a recognized authority on vibration. The absorption system sits in the butt end, so the stick keeps its usual lacquer finish. Zildjian notes that the effect is felt most on electronic pads and practice pads, whose surfaces send a lot of vibration back into the hand.
