Zildjian 5A Nylon Anti-Vibe Drumsticks
The Zildjian 5A Nylon Anti-Vibe are hickory drumsticks with an oval nylon tip, whose butt end holds a patented feature that dampens vibration. This is the nylon version of the 5A Anti-Vibe: the same comfort, with a slightly brighter cymbal sound.
What sets it apart
- Patented vibration reduction
- Oval nylon tip
- 5A measurements: 16", 0.560"
- Regular lacquer finish
Nylon rather than wood
Zildjian offers the 5A Anti-Vibe with either a wood or a nylon tip. This one takes nylon, which the maker links to a slightly brighter, more focused sound on cymbals. The dimensions do not change: 16" long, 0.560" in diameter, medium taper.
The Anti-Vibe principle
Developed with Sims Vibration Laboratory, the feature is hidden on the hand side, and the stick keeps a classic lacquer finish. Zildjian says it is easier to play and more comfortable for some drummers, especially on an electronic kit or a pad, two surfaces that send the stroke back into the wrists.
