Zildjian
Zildjian Heavy 5B Laminated Birch Drumsticks, Oval Tip
Zildjian Heavy 5B laminated birch drumsticks: a heavier, denser 5B that projects more, with a brighter sound.
The Zildjian Heavy 5B is a heavier version of the 5B, built from resin-coated plies of American birch. It keeps 16" and 0.600", but its added density brings durability and power, with more projection and a brighter tone.
What sets it apart
- Laminated, resin-coated American birch
- Heavier than a 5B with the same measurements
- More projection, brighter sound
Another colour in your stick bag
Zildjian files the Heavy 5B under a heavy line built to stretch what a stick can sound like. It doesn't necessarily replace your usual stick: the brand suggests adding a pair to your bag to mix some unique colour into your sound. Brighter on cymbals, more present on drums, it stays well balanced, with an incredibly smooth feel.
