Zildjian FX Trashformer 14" Effects Cymbal
The FX Trashformer 14" is a thin, colour-tinted effects cymbal with a wavy curvature that gives it a trashy voice. It is the largest of the three Trashformers, and the only one that rings on: 7 for sustain on the Sound Lab, against 3 and 4 for the 8" and 10".

A Trashformer that stretches out
The 8" snaps and dies; the 14", rated 8 for brightness, 2 for dryness, 8 for definition and 7 for sustain, leaves a breath behind the impact. Played alone, it gives an explosive, airy splash effect with more body than its smaller siblings.
Stacked
Set on top of or under another cymbal, it adds a layer of white noise to that cymbal's sound. Zildjian presents the line as a very versatile way to widen your palette of sounds.

The tint varies from one cymbal to the next, Zildjian warns. The one you receive may therefore look different from the photo.
